Let us show you around Hart House Inn. First stop- our beautiful wrap-around porch that faces the golf course. Weather permitting we serve our fabulous breakfasts here. In winter we use our intimate inner dining room. There you can enjoy your breakfast by a crackling fire.
 

In the afternoon, when the sun casts it's long shadows, we love to spend some quiet time in our great room. It is 40x40 and features many intimate groupings for chats, games or reading. We know you will love it too, especially before sunset.

Hart House Inn is definitely the inn for all seasons.  It may be blustery outside, but so cozy within.  We'll offer you afternoon tea on arrival.  Let us help you take your luggage to your room then warm up to our grand lobby fireplace.  If you prefer hot chocolate - whatever, we'll try and please you.

Our property hugs the 1000 Island Golf Course, and it's perfect for cross country skiing or snowshoeing.  We are able to host seminars or corporate meetings.  Winter is best for this.  Seriously consider Hart House Inn as just perfect for up to an eight couple getaway.  Just perfect!

Spring is totally wonderful in the 1000 Islands as the winter white blanket bows out to nature's fresh bursts of color.  Every year our yard is more and more beautiful. 

Once you're here you'll discover that no matter the time of year, we love flowers.  Our inn is full of them.  Of course, in spring and summer we are able to select a  myriad of blooms from our gardens.  We even pick delicate edible ones to brighten your breakfast plate.

This tour would not be complete without showing you some of the other guests at Hart House Inn.  Blue Birds have been nesting here for three years now.  In all directions:  an abundance of wildlife.  It's a thrilling place to live!

We have four red and blue Schwinn bikes (some call them California Cruisers).  They're very comfortable; only one speed, but quite fast!

All summer the flowers bloom.  We have flagstone patios and lots of spots where you can relax and not feel guilty.  Borrow our binoculars and zoom in on the world-class ships that pass by on the Seaway - just past our front yard beyond the marina.

Should you take a helicopter or private plane for sightseeing, you'll then discover just how close Boldt Castle is and what a magical place we have in the 1000 Islands.  We're so close to everything, yet away from it all.

That brings us to fall.  The 1000 Islands are joyfully aflame; we're just as fully booked.  It's more peaceful as many tourists are gone, traffic is easy-going.  time to contemplate; what better place than at Hart House Inn - richly designed with you in mind.

The breakfasts are a bit more hearty with the cooler days.  And, as leaves blow away and winter's winds add a crispness to the landscape, it's time for you to snuggle in and enjoy the serenity as only a country inn can do for you.
